Overview

  • Unlike standard whale watching boat tours, this experience is a full-day eco adventure into the remote Great Sandy National Park from Noosa.

    Your tour includes:

    • Scenic 4WD beach transport through the National Park
    • Access to remote coastal locations unreachable by regular vehicles
    • Small group guided ocean kayaking
    • Quiet, low-impact whale encounters with no engine noise
    • A more personal and immersive wildlife experience
    • Opportunities to encounter dolphins, turtles, rays and more
    • Time spent in pristine natural surroundings far from crowded tourist vessels
    • Crystal clear waters of Honeymoon Bay & ancient coloured sand cliffs
    • A natural whale sanctuary

Rather than viewing whales from a large boat amongst crowds, our tours focus on respectful encounters in nature, allowing wildlife experiences to happen naturally and on the whales’ terms.

This is more than just whale watching — it’s a complete Great Sandy National Park adventure experience.

Activity itinerary

Discover whale watching by kayak in a truly natural, low-impact way. No crowded boat tours. Enjoy quiet, respectful encounters with whales in the Great Sandy National Park. Beach 4x4 Drive Included! This is whale watching without engines, noise, or crowds, allowing for a truly respectful and immersive wildlife experience that larger boat tours simply can’t offer. We never chase or disturb marine life. Instead, we observe whales on their terms, creating safe, natural encounters that align with conservation and responsible wildlife tourism. During the whale migration season, humpbacks are commonly seen from the moment we begin our scenic 4WD beach drive along Noosa North Shore. On the water, sightings can range from very close, unforgettable encounters to more distant surface activity. Every tour is different, and that’s what makes it special. Beyond whales, you may also encounter dolphins, turtles, and rays throughout the journey. The destination, Double Island Point, is a truly unique National Park location. Accessed only by 4WD through Noosa North Shore and Teewah Beach, Double Island Point feels worlds away from busy Noosa and tourist boat routes.
