7.15am - 8.00am Start the full-day tour of Ninh Binh after being picked up from your lodgings in the Old Quarter of Hanoi or at the Opera House on Trang Tien Street (pick-up time varies based on your hotel location…).
Take a quick pause to rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
Travel to the historic Vietnamese capital of Hoa Lu between 968 and 1010. You can study Vietnamese history during the Dinh, Le, and Ly dynasties, when the country was still ruled by feudal systems.
Cycling through the hamlet to learn about the lives of the locals is optional (only for pleasure & free)
Visit the restaurant serving a variety of Vietnamese dishes for lunch. There are vegetarian cuisine options.
Take a 1.5-hour boat ride to Tam Coc. The picturesque scenery with the river, paddy fields, and breathtaking cave system was seen during the boat ride. All combine to create a work of art known to Vietnamese as “Halong Bay on land.”
Return aboard the bus and head toward Mua Cave. Ascending nearly 500 stairs will bring you to the summit of Lying Dragon Mountain, where you can enjoy a breathtaking 360-degree view of Tam Coc.
To go back to Hanoi, board the bus.
