Reference Itinerary of 6.5-hour mushroom foraging
10:00 - 10:05: pick-up guests by Land Cruiser
10:05 - 10:50: travel to the forest (it may vary depending on the mushroom picking areas, usually 30-45 minutes)
10:50 - 11:00: receive gloves, bags, safety instructions when moving in the forest and basic identify of edible mushrooms
11:00 - 12:00: start looking for mushrooms, always call the tour guide to check when spot any mushrooms
12:00 - 12:15: take a rest, have fruits and snacks, Q&A of newly picked mushrooms
12:15 - 13:00: second round of mushroom foraging
13:00 - 13:30: back to the parking site
13:30am - 14:15: Guide to classifying and pre-processing edible mushrooms.
14:15 - 15:30: cook and have local lunch made from the mushrooms
15:30 - 16:00: clean up and start to travel back
16:00 - 16:30: drop off guests and end the tour
Note
- Mushroom areas change alternately and continuously during the mushroom season
- The quantity and type of mushrooms may vary depending on the time and location of foraging mushroom areas
- Make sure you have no allergy to mushrooms
- It may rain during the trip (raincoats provided in the tour)
- Guests are not allowed to arbitrarily enter any lake sites or move away from the mushroom foraging area
- Always comply with the tour guide's safety regulations
