A boat and snorkeling experience designed to get to know Puerto Vallarta beyond the obvious.

You will sail south of the bay aboard a traditional boat to Los Arcos Marine Park, where you will explore its islets, spot birds and snorkel in one of the richest marine areas of the Mexican Pacific.

Activity itinerary

The expedition begins at "Los Peines" marina, from where we'll set sail for "Los Arcos" national marine park aboard of a traditional "Super Panga" boat. During the voyage, we'll share stories about the evolution of Puerto Vallarta and Banderas Bay, from its indigenous legends and pirate tales to the cinematic drama of the 1960s that transformed the region. Arriving to the park, we'll begin exploring the five islets. We'll visit the iconic caves, learn interesting facts and local myths of the area, and enjoy birdwatching with other surprises. After a safety briefing and equipment check, we'll embark on a guided snorkeling excursion, swimming among colorful fish and reefs teeming with marine life in the safest area of the park. We'll conclude with a scenic return trip where you can enjoy the sea breeze, take photos, and immerse yourself in the view of the Sierra Madre Occidental jungle, ensuring you leave with a deeper understanding of the history and natural beauty of the Mexican Pacific.
