The route leads through three large galleries: the Navata dei Preti, the Navata degli Appestati, and the Navata dei Pezzentelli. Together with expert guides and people born and raised in the neighborhood, you will explore the deep bond between Naples and the afterlife, where faith is inextricably intertwined with folklore. We will tell you about the evolution of the evocative cult of the “pezzentelle souls” and take you up close to the famous skulls adopted by the people, analyzing the historical and architectural context that makes this site unique in the world.
