What you can expect
Day 1: Nairobi (JKIA) - Lake Nakuru National Reserve
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (pickup is either at the airport or your preferred hotel), our guide will pick you up and you will ascend the eastern wall of the Rift Valley where lush coffee and tea plantations reveal themselves and your driver-guide will give you a brief talk about coffee farming in Kenya. You will have a short stop-over at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photographs and then proceed with your drive to arrive at Lake Nakuru Park.
In Nakuru after lunch, you will set for a game drive in the park in search of the big five animals like a lion, rhino, leopard cheetah, and other animals. Lake Nakuru is famous for its millions of flamingoes and migrant birds from all over the world; in Nakuru, we have up to 425 different bird species. Accommodation: Lanet Matfam Resort
Day 2: Lake Nakuru National Park - Maasai Mara National Reserve
Early in the morning breakfast, depart with your drive en route to Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s most popular nature reserve. Today, you will have an afternoon game drive in the park. Maasai Mara NR, is renowned for its impressive number of big cats, most notably lions, though you may spot the odd cheetah as well.
The Serengeti plains, irrigated by the river Mara, make up much of the park and sustain huge populations of migratory animals, including wildebeest, giraffes, and zebras. You'll enjoy the game safaris at different parts of the park to ensure you get the most out of your visit. Accommodation: Aa Lodge Mara
Day 3: Masai Mara National Reserve - Nairobi JKIA or Hotel
You'll have an early morning breakfast at 7:30 in the morning, then go to the lodge to pack and check out. You will depart and drive back to Nairobi with a stopover for lunch. On arrival, you'll be dropped off at the hotel of your booking choice or at the airport to catch your departure.
