Why not try your hand at pottery, a traditional craft that has been practiced for over 1,000 years?
Begin your journey at Meitetsu Owari-Seto Station, a 40-minute train ride from Nagoya, we will transport you by private vehicle to the historic studio in Seto City.
At the workshop, You will be instructed by a skilled potter with over 50 years of experience. You can enjoy a pottery-making experience using an electric wheel to create everyday tableware such as bowls and tea cups.
From the 3 pieces you create, we will fire and mail 2 of the best-made pieces to you. You can choose from 15 different colors for each one.
If you’d like to take all the pottery home, you can do so for 1,000 yen for each additional piece after the second one.(Cash Only)
Your creation will undergo the subsequent processes of bisque firing and glaze firing to be completed. This typically takes 1-2 months.
