Situated about 32 km/20 miles away from Kathmandu in Nepal’s historic Bhaktapur District, hiking to Nagarkot is actually one of those rare opportunities to admire the tallest mountain giant in the world, Mt. Everest (8,848 m), along with some of the tops globally such as Mt. Manaslu (the eighth highest mountain), Mt. Annapurna (the tenth largest mountain summit), & others. Further, the Nagarkot hill station serves as an excellent vantage point, providing the stunning expansive Himalayan panorama, dramatic sunrise & sunset feasible for every age group & experience level. At the same time, you get to visit one of the UNESCO world’s heritage sites, Changunarayan, on a one-day guided hike to Nagarkot. Note: - A two-hour drive & rest period.
