As the sun begins to set, make your way to the River Island Outpost for an evening that promises to be as sweet as it is unforgettable. Upon arrival, take a moment to soak in the serene atmosphere of the outpost. Hammocks, swings, restrooms, and changing rooms await you during the breezy 30-minute check-in process.

Here, you'll make a choice: glide on a pontoon boat or paddle your own single or tandem kayak, guided by an expert alongside you, for a half-mile journey down the river. As you navigate the river's gentle curves and turn the corner, behold the magic unfold before you.

Beside the inviting fire pit awaits the pièce de résistance – a gourmet s'mores bar. Here, you'll find all the fixings and instructions to create six tantalizing s'mores variations. Roasting sticks and bottled water are, of course included.

After relishing as many s'mores as your heart desires your Adventure Guides will start the owl call. Within minutes our Barred Owl friends will come flying in for your viewing pleasure. This is a magical moment not to be missed!
