What you can expect

Step into a night where science, nature, and silence come together. At Finca Astronómica, astronomy is not just something you watch — it’s something you live. Guided by expert astronomers, you’ll explore the real night sky using powerful telescopes, laser-guided sky tours, and smart imaging technology that reveals planets, nebulae, and distant galaxies in stunning detail.

As darkness falls, the universe slowly opens above you. Depending on the season, you may observe the rings of Saturn, Jupiter and its moons, stellar nurseries, ancient star clusters, or galaxies millions of light-years away. Live astrophotography sessions turn faint cosmic light into vivid images on screen, while your guide explains not only what you’re seeing, but how astronomers read the sky. Every night is different — and that’s what makes it real.

Before the observations begin, guests are free to enjoy the finca at their own pace. Wander through the gardens, relax in the common areas, and meet our animals — a small but authentic representation of traditional farm life in the region. To make the experience richer, the finca features interactive information boards and a digital guide webpage, allowing guests to learn about the animals, plants, and the off-grid systems that keep the finca running, both during the visit and afterwards.

The evening flows naturally from sunset to starlight. Guests can enjoy dinner, a drink at the bar, games like billiards and darts, and time around the bonfire before moving into the observation phase of the night. The experience is unhurried, immersive, and designed to reconnect you with the rhythms of nature — and the sky above it.

For those who want to go all in, there is also an option to stay the night in one of our limited glamping pods or yurts, extending the experience into a full under-the-stars escape.

We offer several formats to suit different guests:
• Family Nights (no age limit) – relaxed, educational, and shared
• Adult-Only Nights – quieter, deeper, and more contemplative
• Private Tours – exclusive experiences for couples, families, or groups

All parts of the experience take place inside Finca Astronómica, a carefully designed off-grid location created for dark-sky observation, learning, and connection — with nature, science, and each other.

Astronomy for Everyone
Astronomy Night is designed to be inclusive and accessible. The finca is suitable for guests with limited mobility, and observations are adapted so everyone can participate comfortably. For guests with reduced vision or sight deficiencies, electronic assisted astronomy, and live imaging allow the universe to be experienced beyond the eyepiece.
