Schleißheim Palace, with its magnificent Baroque court garden, was commissioned by Elector Max Emanuel in 1701, modeled after Versailles, in the hope of attaining the imperial crown. For centuries, it served as the summer residence of the Bavarian ruling family. The palace complex testifies to the power, wealth, and prestige of the Wittelsbach dynasty.
During the summer months, the Residence Soloists present concerts in the Baroque Hall of Schleißheim Palace or in the palace arcades (open-air, regardless of the weather), offering a fresh experience of renowned classical masterpieces in a dignified setting. Works by Vivaldi, Mozart, Beethoven, as well as Dvořák and Gershwin, resonate in a truly special atmosphere.
Tickets for the two-hour concert, including an intermission, are available at the box office on-site approximately 30 minutes before the concert begins. Seating is assigned. Please note that the concert venue is not wheelchair accessible.
