What you can expect
Climb Mount Fuji on a guided 2-day adventure and choose the route that best matches your travel plans, fitness level, transportation arrangements, and preferred mountain hut.
Available routes include the Yoshida Route, Subashiri Route, Fujinomiya Route, and Prince Route. Guests may select their preferred route, but they must reserve a mountain hut located on that route before the activity.
Mountain hut accommodation is not included in the tour price. Guests are responsible for booking and paying for their own accommodation directly. A confirmed mountain hut reservation is required because the first-day climbing schedule, trailhead, meeting location, and second-day summit departure time depend on the hut’s location.
If you need assistance, we can provide a mountain hut reservation service. Please send us a message through the booking platform before the tour. Hut availability is limited, especially on weekends and during the peak climbing season, so reservation assistance and a specific hut cannot be guaranteed.
Choose from three transportation options. You may travel from Tokyo by private transfer, meet your guide in Tokyo and use public transportation, or meet at Fujisan Parking before continuing toward the selected trailhead.
On the first day, meet your guide, travel to the trailhead, complete equipment and entry checks, and begin climbing at a steady pace. Continue to the mountain hut you reserved and rest overnight.
On the second day, leave the hut before dawn and continue toward the summit. The group will aim to experience sunrise from the summit area or another suitable point on the mountain. After the summit period, descend along the designated route and return according to your selected transportation option.
Reaching the summit and watching the sunrise depend on weather, trail conditions, congestion, altitude response, and the physical condition of the group. The guide may adjust or stop the climb when necessary for safety.
Route Selection
Yoshida Route
A widely used route starting from Fuji Subaru Line 5th Station. It has many mountain huts and facilities, but it can become crowded during weekends and peak climbing dates.
Subashiri Route
A quieter forested route that later joins the Yoshida Route. It is suitable for guests who prefer a less crowded start and a varied mountain landscape.
Fujinomiya Route
The shortest route to the summit in distance, but it begins at a higher elevation and includes steep sections. The ascent and descent use much of the same trail.
Prince Route
A route combining parts of the Fujinomiya and Gotemba routes. It offers a varied climbing experience and may require careful coordination between the trailhead and mountain hut.
