The Chureito Pagoda is indeed a notable site. Situated on the mountainside overlooking Fujiyoshida City with Mount Fuji in the distance, it is part of the Arakura Sengen Shrine. Built in 1963 as a peace memorial, reaching the pagoda requires climbing about 400 steps. The ascent offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the shrine.

Oshino Hakkai is a historic village in the Fuji Five Lake region, situated between Lake Kawaguchiko and Lake Yamanakako. It was once the site of a sixth lake that dried up centuries ago. The village features eight ponds fed by snowmelt from Mount Fuji, which percolates through lava layers for over 80 years, producing exceptionally clear spring water.
