Your first stop will be Mount Pantokrator Summit, the highest peak of Corfu at 906 meters. The paved road winds steadily up through pine forests and mountain villages until you reach the monastery at the summit. On clear days, you can see the Albanian coastline, the Greek mainland, and even the mountains of Italy in the distance. The monastery itself is small but peaceful, offering a quiet place to take in the breathtaking panorama.
From there, you’ll continue to Old Perithia, Corfu’s oldest preserved mountain village. Nestled on the slopes of Pantokrator, Old Perithia is a stone-built settlement dating back to Venetian times. Its narrow cobbled lanes, ruined mansions, and restored tavernas capture a sense of timelessness. Here, you can wander the sleepy streets and perhaps pause for a rustic village lunch, tasting traditional Corfiot dishes in a truly atmospheric setting.
To complete your journey, your driver will take you to Kassiopi Harbor / Spartilas Viewpoint, where you can choose between a stop at Kassiopi harbor — a lively fishing village with a picturesque waterfront — or Spartilas, a hillside viewpoint with sweeping views back towards Corfu Town. Both offer a gentle conclusion before the drive back south.
After exploring Corfu’s mountainous heart and discovering a side of the island far removed from the beaches, your driver will return you comfortably to your accommodation in Corfu Town.
Please note: Lunch in Old Perithia is optional and not included in the ride price.
