Omarama

We stop in the charming town of Omarama, nestled beneath soaring ranges and known for its soaring skies and merino wool. This is your chance to grab a fresh coffee, snacks, or lunch—especially recommended for those planning to hike or join a glacier activity at Mt Cook.

Twizel

Pass through the alpine town of Twizel and glimpse the vast network of hydro canals fed by glacial meltwater. This region is also famous for Mt Cook Alpine salmon and stunning lake views.
