The only cooking class in which Camilla Pizzorno, Mortar Pesto World Champion, Guides you in her recipe, reveals her secrets... and makes you taste an authentic Ligurian menu. 1. You will be welcomed in a typical Ligurian garden surrounded by greenery during the summer, or in a heated outdoor area in winter. We will discover together all the ingredients of real pesto and their role. 2. Using a Carrara marble mortar and an olive wood pestle, Camilla will guide you in the preparation of your pesto with a mortar. You will crush and mix the ingredients by hand, to create the right color and texture. 3. We will taste the freshly prepared pesto with Genoese focaccia and trofie, Genoese pandolce dessert, with local wine and Italian spirits. 4. You will receive the recipe of the Champion, photos and videos of the lesson and a small gift to remember Liguria.
