At the start of the activity, the guide will conduct a briefing explaining basic paddling technique, how to handle an individual closed sea kayak, and the safety guidelines. No prior experience is required. The activity is scheduled at 8:15 a.m., a particularly favorable time for paddling, when the sea is usually calm and the coastline can be explored in greater tranquility. For approximately two hours, you will follow a coastal route passing some of the area’s most iconic spots. You will paddle alongside the cliffs of Les Sofreres and its natural bay, pass Cala del Molí — known for its spectacular sea-cliff via ferrata —, continue toward Cala Ametller, and explore the dramatic cliffs and channels of Cap de Mort. The main objective of the route is reaching the Cova dels Rats Penats, a beautiful sea cave accessible only from the water. After the visit, you will return along the same coastal route, enjoying the scenery and the calmer conditions typical of the early morning hours. The activity is conducted exclusively in individual closed sea kayaks (not sit-on-top), designed for touring thanks to their efficiency, stability, and protection.
