After exploring its interior and gardens, we'll move on to enjoy the cathedral known as “La Magna Hispalensis.”
    Its past as an Almohad mosque, whose remains, such as the Giralda, are the symbol of the city today. The commercial development that came with Seville becoming the Port of the Indies, the financial center of overseas trade, catapulted this magnificent building to what we can see today: home to the mausoleum of Christopher Columbus, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque altarpieces, works of art by the likes of Goya, Murillo, and Zurbarán, and Baroque religious sculptures of the highest artistic quality.
