Day 1 – Arrival at Bagdogra and Transfer to Samdrup Jongkhar
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and meet your Bhutanese escort.
Drive through tea gardens and subtropical forests to Samdrup Jongkhar.
Stop for tea at Guwahati or Deothang.
Cross the Bhutan border and complete immigration formalities.
Evening orientation and stroll in the border town.
Overnight stay in Samdrup Jongkhar.
Day 2 – Samdrup Jongkhar to Trashigang
Drive to Trashigang, Bhutan’s largest eastern district.
Visit Khaling National Handloom Centre to see traditional brocade weaving.
Explore Trashigang Dzong and learn about its history.
Evening visit to Kanglung Monastery or Sherubtse College.
Overnight stay in Trashigang.
Day 3 – Trashigang to Mongar

Day 4 – Mongar to Lhuentse

Day 5 – Lhuentse to Trashiyangtse
