Stadsbrouwerij Middelburg was founded by Jacco and Marja de Wee, who built a beautiful brewery with a love for the craft and their city. In 2023, Maarten and Dominique Anthoni took over, determined to maintain and expand the brewery's character and quality.

Since then, brewing has taken place at a new location: Dam 18, in a historic building in the heart of Middelburg's city center. A unique brewery setup that you won't find anywhere else.

Since the summer of 2025, the brewery has had a tasting room at Segeersstraat 43, a cozy place where you can taste the beers, surrounded by authentic 18th-century paneling. A tasting room with history in the walls and in the glass.
