What you can expect

This Queer at Historic Center starts at Alameda Central Park (the corner of Hidalgo Av. and Dr. Mora St.), where you will meet your guide, they will be holding a colorful umbrella, after an introduction you will walk around Parque Alameda Central towards the first stop. At Hemiciclo a Juárez the first stop, the adventure through Queer & Mexican History begin.

During this walking tour, my objectives include remembering important Queer people in Mexican History and talking about Queer contemporary artists and activists.

The tour continues walking by Av. Francisco I. Madero all the way to Zócalo or Plaza de Constitución. The walking tour finishes behind Metropolitan Cathedral, near Templo Mayor.

For this tour, I recommend you having a small lunch, wearing comfortable shoes for walking, use sunscreen, bring water, and an umbrella.
