What you can expect

  • Begin your journey in Agrelo, the prestigious northern subregion of Luján de Cuyo, where some of Argentina’s most celebrated wineries lie tucked among olive groves and mountain vieuws. Here, the sun is warm, the air is dry, and the vineyards are tended like gardens of gold.

Visit emblematic wineries such as Catena Zapata (aditional visit fee), with its Mayan-inspired pyramid architecture and legendary high-altitude expressions, or Finca Decero, perched on a hillside with panoramic views and minimalist design.

Agrelo’s wines—especially its bold, structured Malbecs the bests in the world—are rich in identity, refined by tradition, and shaped by the wisdom of generations.

From Agrelo, follow Ruta 86 Los Cerrillos south into the Tupungato region, where the road rises gently and the Andes draw closer with every curve. This is where vineyards climb toward the heavens, thriving in the thin, mineral-rich air of higher altitudes.

In the shadow of the volcano that gives the region its name, discover boutique wineries that emphasize precision, elegance, and terroir. Options include: Domaine Bousquet, known for its organic viticulture, Finca Sophenia, with expressive whites and soaring views, or the exclusive Bemberg Estate Wines, where custom winemaking meets a world-class product.

Tupungato is where innovation and nature hold hands, and every tasting feels like a dialogue between land and winemaker.

Continue south into the heart of the Uco Valley, where the landscape unfurls in breathtaking expanses. This is Argentina’s most dynamic wine frontier—elevated, refined, and boldly expressive.

Wineries like: Salentein, where modern architecture merges with art and barrel vaults, Andeluna, offering food and wine pairings beneath glass walls, or Piedra Infinita, with its masterpiece design nestled among vines, provide not only award-winning wines, but immersive experiences: vineyard walks, blending sessions, lunches under the trees, and tastings with mountain views that steal the breath.

Here, the wines speak of elevation, of sunlight filtered through pure air, of patience and place. The Malbecs are deep yet graceful, the Cabernet Francs bold yet aromatic, and the Chardonnays mineral and lithe.

As the day wanes, return north toward Mendoza City, perhaps taking the scenic Ruta 89 La Carrera or Ruta 40, where the landscape softens and golden light brushes the vineyards in warm hues. Wear comfortable clothing suitable for walking

IMPORTANT: Please take a note that this tour needs to be booked 24 hours before starting time. We need to make reservations for the restaurants and wineries.
