We'll depart from Medellín from the comfort of your hotel, Airbnb, or other accommodation in a private vehicle, heading to Jardin, one of the most iconic villages in southwestern Antioquia. Our first stop will be its main square, surrounded by colorful traditional architecture, balconies, and its imposing Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, known for its neo-Gothic architecture.
We'll then head to a coffee farm, where we'll enjoy a quality cup of coffee while exploring a natural environment surrounded by mountains and rural tradition.
Then comes the adventure: we'll head to a small farm located in a protected natural environment, where we'll enjoy a snack before starting a downhill hike through the mountains to reach a sacred cave linked to indigenous tradition, where you can connect with its waters and enjoy one of the most stunning natural settings in the region.
After the adventure, we'll head back to the town to enjoy a typical lunch at a restaurant frequented by locals, perfect for discovering the flavors of the region, recharging our batteries, and relaxing.
Our next stop will be the higher part of the mountains of Jardín, where we'll enjoy a privileged view of the landscape and experience a zipline ride between the mountains.
We'll finish by strolling through the colorful streets of Jardin, discovering its traditional architecture, handicrafts, local sweets, and coffee culture. A day among mountains, water, adventure, cuisine, and tradition.
At the end, we'll start our journey back to the original pick-up point. If you continue with one of our Antioquia itineraries, you can stay in Jardín and set off the next morning for your next adventure.
