We invite you to our little secret: the barrio of La Pradera, part of Comuna 13, but still undiscovered and truly local. We want to keep it that way ;) so we only invite small groups, a few times per week.
We will meet at the exit of Juan XXIII metro cable station. You can get there by taking the cable car from San Javier station and enjoy amazing views on the way. Together, we will walk through the barrio of La Pradera, once a dangerous neighbourhood, like all of Comuna 13, but now residential, authentic and safe.
After exploring the local barrio life, you will arrive to our little workshop! There, you will learn how to make one of Colombia’s most iconic street foods: the empanada. You will do everything yourselves, from scratch, with the guidance of a professional chef. This way, you'll take part of Colombian culture with you, as you'll be able to prepare them again at home!
At the end, we’ll sit down to enjoy our freshly made empanadas with a refreshing drink, and ponder on the amazing experience we just had, and how beautiful life in Colombia truly is!
