What you can expect
Begin your day in the heart of Kutaisi at the iconic Colchis Fountain, where your journey starts at 09:00 AM. From here, explore the natural beauty of western Georgia combined with authentic local culture.
Visitors can choose a Combo Ticket for 80 GEL, which includes entry to all three main attractions. If not selected, individual entrance fees may apply and can be higher.
Your visit to Okatse Canyon begins at the Visitor Centre, where a well-maintained 2.2 km paved walking path leads through beautiful forest scenery to the canyon entrance. The walk is straightforward and suitable for most visitors. At the end of the path, you will reach the ticket control point and the famous hanging walkway with panoramic canyon views.
Please note that some sections may be slippery after rain, and the site can be busy during peak season. Okatse Canyon may not be suitable for visitors prone to vertigo or uncomfortable with heights, as parts of the walkway are suspended above the canyon.
For those who prefer not to walk, an optional off-road vehicle transfer is available from the Visitor Centre to the canyon entrance for approximately 100 GEL per vehicle, which can be shared between travelers.
After the visit, a small café near the top of the stairs offers refreshments and water before returning.
Continue to Kinchkha Waterfall, one of the highest in the region. Surrounded by wild nature, it offers scenic viewpoints and a peaceful atmosphere. For adventure seekers, an optional zipline is available with panoramic views.
Enjoy a relaxing lunch at a local restaurant with traditional Georgian dishes. (Imeretian Khachapuri is included)
The final stop is Martvili Canyon, known for its emerald waters and unique rock formations. Here you can enjoy an optional boat ride or zipline for a different perspective of the canyon.
This tour combines nature, light adventure, and authentic Georgian culture, offering a balanced and unforgettable experience. It is ideal for couples, solo travelers, and culture lovers seeking a full-day discovery of western Georgia beyond standard itineraries.
