What you can expect

Discover the tropical rainforest, the city of Saint Pierre that was destroyed by the volcano in 1902, a rum distillery, a small waterfall, and a beach on this tour. Sample local food and beverages at each stop, including pastries, hot chocolate, and exotic fruits.

Start your tour with a pickup from the cruise terminal or your hotel in Fort-de-France. Our first stop will be the replica of the famous Sacre Coeur in Paris, then we will start our itinerary on the roads of the rainforest. After a refreshing stop a the river, head to the waterfall and feel fully immersed in nature.

We will proceed to the city of Saint Pierre, which was destroyed by the volcano in 1902. Stop at the ruins of the theater and learn about its history.

Next, visit a rum distillery and learn about the rum-making process. Sample some local rum and then head to a small grey sand beach. Enjoy a refreshing drink and take in the beautiful views.

Finally, head back to your cruise ship or hotel in Fort-de-France.
