With your ticket, you can explore all the exhibition areas of Barryland in Martigny. You will learn where the Saint Bernards come from, how they were used on the Great St. Bernard Pass, and how they live today.
The tour is customized. Thanks to modern scenography and spacious indoor and outdoor areas, you will experience a pleasant and smooth visit that takes the dogs' wellbeing into account. Throughout your stay, you can observe the Saint Bernards and watch care and activity demonstrations. You will have the opportunity to explore interactive stations, enjoy immersive experiences, and capture your visit at the photo spot.
Five themed worlds showcase the character, history, fame, and daily life of the dogs with multimedia installations. They are called: The Saint Bernard as a rescuer, player, star, connoisseur and friend. The tour can be combined with breaks in the outdoor area and a visit to the café or shop.
You can watch various activities every day at set times. These include, for example:
- Activities and care of the dogs
- Hydrotherapy for the dogs
- Dog feeding
Traveling with a wheelchair or stroller:
- Barryland is fully wheelchair accessible
- Reserved parking spaces close by with easy access
- Accessible toilets in the main building and restaurant
- A wheelchair can be borrowed at the front desk (if still available)
Guide dogs/assistance dogs:
- They are welcome throughout the park, except on the first floor, where the dog kennels are located.
- Please avoid contact with the Saint Bernards as much as possible.
