What you can expect

At the start of the tour, you will be comfortably transported from your hotel to the embarkation point, where you will begin your cruise on the Rio Negro. Throughout the journey, the breathtaking scenery of the dark waters and Amazonian vegetation will accompany you on your way to the Anavilhanas Archipelago, the second-largest archipelago in the world.

Your first stop will be at an indigenous community, where you will have the opportunity to get to know the local culture and traditions of the Amazonian peoples up close, a unique chance to learn about the history and customs of this fascinating region. Next, you will visit the Ariaú Tower Hotel, a former resort located in the Amazon rainforest, whose ruins still bear traces of its grandeur and of a time when it was a famous tourist destination.

Upon arriving at the Anavilhanas Archipelago, you will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring typical Amazonian dishes, a true tradition in the region's culinary heritage, prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. After lunch, the tour continues with a visit to the pink river dolphin platform, where you will be able to observe these amazing animals in their natural habitat. You will also have the option to swim with the dolphins.

On the way back, a stop is planned at one of the river beaches, where you can relax and take a dip in the river, enjoying the tranquility of the Rio Negro's waters. Finally, the boat will return to the point of departure, and you will be dropped off at your hotel, taking with you unforgettable memories of your journey through the Amazon.

In addition to being an experience of Amazonian nature and culture, this tour offers an enriching encounter with the region's unique fauna and flora. Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by bi-lingual guides who will share their knowledge of the local biodiversity.
