What's included, what's not
- Malta Surf School's group lesson for beginners (max 6 people)
- We'll start on the beach, providing essential information about the surfboard and the surf spot.
- Learn how to properly stand up on the board and execute the correct take-off technique. We'll practice these moves on the sand, boosting your confidence.
- Moving to chest-high deep water, our experienced instructors will guide each participant, ensuring safety, and offering wave-catching tips.
- Our team will be there with you throughout, ensuring an enjoyable experience. Catch waves, play safe, and create lasting memories.
- The group lesson is 60€ per person for a 1-hour session, equipment included.
- Find us at the beach, near Singita kiosk, marked by our blue flag.
- N.B. All activities at Malta Surf School are weather-dependent. In case of no waves, we offer alternative activities such as stand-up paddleboarding, wakeboarding, or boat tours.
- Bus routes from Sliema, San Julien (Bus 225), Valletta (Bus 44), and Bugibba/San Pawl Bay (Bus 223).
- What to bring: Wear a bikini or board shorts under the wetsuit (winter) or our school's T-shirt (summer).
- Bring a dry towel and water for after the lesson.
- Arrival: Arrive 15 minutes early for the initial briefing and to get changed.

Perfect for first-timers, this 1-hour session is tailored to help you ride your first wave with confidence. With small groups (max 6 people), you’ll receive personalized attention from our expert instructors.
Beach Introduction: Begin with an essential briefing on the surfboard, safety, and surf spot conditions, setting you up for success.
Master the Basics: Practice take-off techniques and standing up on the board right on the sand, building your confidence step by step.
Hit the Water: Dive into chest-high water with guidance from our experienced team. You'll learn to paddle, catch waves, and enjoy every moment in a safe, supportive environment.
