What you can expect

  • The adventure begins…

With snowshoes on your feet and headlamps on your heads, you set off on an adventure through the powder snow to reach a lavvu nestled in a peaceful forest in the Arctic countryside.

Along the way, your live guide will tell you stories about life in the far north of the Arctic, the region's fjords, the wildlife, and local customs and traditions…

Once you arrive at your destination, a new experience awaits you… Will you be able to light the fire yourself with a flint to kick off the evening festivities?

    • 3.5 hours of things to do, surprises, stories about life in Norway, its traditions, Sami culture, nature, and the “KOS” philosophy
    • Introduction to snowshoeing to reach the lavvu
    • Experience of lighting your own fire with a flint
    • Cooking a snack over the fire and local pastry tasting
    • A magical and unique evening by a campfire in a candlelit lavvu located in the middle of the forest (an isolated place without lights = chances of seeing the Northern Lights)
    • Arctic experience surrounded by nature
    • A time to immerse yourself in Arctic life, learn, challenge yourself, and enjoy!

After this evening, you will leave with…

    • Your heart enriched by a beautiful experience
    • Your head full of new knowledge about Norway
    • Your stomach full of local food tastings
    • Your eyes filled with stars by the magic of the moment
    • Your soul soothed by a moment in nature by the fire
