Discover the southern coast of Alagoas on a private guided tour led by a native of Alagoas, who turns the trip into a journey through the history, culture, and landscapes of the region — not just a drive between beaches.
The experience begins at 8:00 AM with a meeting at your hotel in Maceió. During the drive along the southern coast, your guide will tell you about the formation of the Alagoas coastline, the life of the fishing communities, the origin of the names of the beaches, and curious facts that only those born in the region know.
The first guided stop is in Barra de São Miguel, where you can see the meeting of the São Miguel River and the Atlantic Ocean. Your guide explains the unique geography of the place, points out the best angles for photos, and tells you how the village grew around this meeting of waters.
Next, you arrive at Gunga Beach, consistently listed among the most beautiful beaches in Brazil. Here you have time to enjoy the beach at your own pace: swim in the warm waters, enjoy seafood at local kiosks recommended by the guide, or book optional activities such as a speedboat ride to the cliffs, a buggy ride, or a quad ride (paid separately).
Throughout the day, your guide is available to provide guidance, suggestions, and context for every moment. Return to the hotel around 3:30 PM, with a living interpretation of the Alagoas coast that no shared tour offers.
