What you can expect

Discover the traditional Japanese art of Kintsugi during this unique workshop, where you will learn to repair broken ceramics by enhancing them with gold powder. Much more than just a restoration technique, Kintsugi is a Japanese philosophy that celebrates imperfections and transforms cracks into elements of beauty.

During this workshop, you will be guided step by step to understand the key stages: preparing the pieces, assembling them, applying the repair materials, and adding a decorative finish.

Suitable for beginners, this experience is ideal for anyone who wants to discover a soothing, creative, and meaningful Japanese art form.

If you have an item you want to repair, you will need to schedule 4 sessions, with at least one week between each session. There should be a 3-week gap between the first and second sessions, and then a 1-week gap between each subsequent session. If you don't have a specific item to repair, sign up for a date that suits you, and you'll repair a small chip on a small plate that you'll take home with you!
