Set off on a superb 10 km heritage loop in the heart of the Dordogne Valley to discover two iconic villages among the “Plus Beaux Villages de France”: Loubressac and Autoire. This guided walk combines history, scenery, and nature, and is ideal for understanding the region while enjoying charming routes.

The tour departs from Loubressac, perched above the valley. The guided visit of the village allows you to appreciate the authenticity of its buildings, which are partly medieval, and its traditional Quercy houses. You then continue on foot to the edge of the cliff overlooking Autoire, to admire a stunning panorama of the Autoire Gorge, classified as a Protected Natural Area.

The route continues with a visit to the Château des Anglais, a former military refuge clinging to the cliff, then you reach the place known as Siran for a bird's-eye view of the famous Autoire waterfall. The return to Loubressac is via the causse, dotted with dry-stone walls, gariottes, and dolmens, which bear witness to the rural landscape and local history.
