WHALESHARK ADVENTURE #
At around 4:00 AM, depart by traditional wooden Begog boat toward the fishing platforms (bagang), where whale sharks are often found. The boat ride takes approximately 1 hour.
Snorkeling usually takes place around 6:00–7:00 AM, depending on sea conditions. After snorkeling, enjoy a simple breakfast on the boat with coffee, tea, bread, and fruit before returning to shore.
SPECIAL WILDLIFE EXPERIENCE #
This tour is specially designed for travelers interested in wildlife and authentic nature experiences. Whale sharks are wild animals, and their presence depends on natural factors such as food availability, tides, currents, weather, and sea conditions.
Every trip can therefore be different. Sometimes conditions are favorable and guests enjoy a close encounter. At other times, whale sharks may appear briefly, remain far from the boat, or may not be seen at all.
Based on our experience, the estimated chance of encountering whale sharks is approximately 80–90%, but this is not guaranteed.
We recommend this tour for travelers who understand and appreciate the unpredictability of wildlife experiences and value the entire journey, nature, local culture, and adventure—not only seeing whale sharks.
If whale sharks are not encountered, the tour will continue as scheduled and no refund or compensation will be provided, as wildlife sightings are beyond the operator’s control.
By booking, participants acknowledge that encountering whale sharks is a natural and unpredictable experience. The itinerary and schedule may change due to traffic, weather, sea conditions, ferry schedules, safety, or operational requirements.
