Explore the well-preserved Ljubljana Castle by booking your entry tickets. Walk around the castle grounds, climb the watchtower, enter the chapel, and access the Slovenian History Exhibition and the Museum of Puppetry. Visit Ljubljana Castle to indulge in breathtaking panoramic views of the city from the castle's elevated fortifications. Discover the Chapel of St George, one of the oldest surviving remnants of the castle, dating from 1489, covered in frescoes and the coats of arms of the Dukes of Carniola.

Look at Slovenia through the ages at the interactive Slovenian History Exhibition. Discover the world of puppetry, from the manufacture of marionettes and glove puppets to the staging of the shows themselves at the Museum of Puppetry.

Enhance your visit by opting for a multilingual audio guide and learn how the castle played an important role over the centuries. If you wish to avoid the fairly steep climb up to Castle Hill, take a short ride on the glass-enclosed Ljubljana Castle funicular from the Old Town.

Explore the castle's various attractions at your own pace, or join an optional Time Machine tour, a fun and educational theatrical adventure, led by costumed guides. Be led to 6 time stations, each equipped with a figure from that time giving you an insight into their period.
