LisboaLove Fado is the ultimate event for living and feeling Portuguese Lisboa's traditional genre, starting at 5 PM on Fridays and Tuesdays. I'll share some of our traditions and culture and a brief introduction to the history of Fado, to set the mood for our evening.

The LisboaLove Fado takes place on an exclusive venue: my apartment. It's a personal full experience only for the guests who book it, not joining a Fado Restaurant with others.

For context, I'll summarize the history of Fado. This will be followed by a 40-minute tribute performance to Amalia Rodrigues, Portugal’s most famous and well-loved Fado singer. I will add some commentary during the concert to resume the lyrics being performed.

Since it is afternoon, you may have walked a lot in our hilly city already, so we'll serve a snack of traditional petiscos. There's no Fado without some wine and olives too.
