This culinary city tour takes you off the typical tourist trails through Lisbon’s oldest districts, from the afternoon into the evening.
As we stroll through winding streets and discover hidden spots, we will stop at small eateries and sample Portuguese cuisine, accompanied by stories from your tour guide in English.
The 'petiscos' we offer represent the diversity of Portuguese gastronomy. The concept is similar to Spanish tapas, although the dishes themselves are not comparable.
In a small group of no more than 10 participants, we will stroll through the historic neighborhoods of Mouraria, Graça, São Vicente, and Castelo on this culinary tour.
The entire tour lasts 3.5 hours, with the actual walking time being only about one hour (including a steep stair climb at the start!). This means we’ll have plenty of time to sit, eat, drink, and get to know each other.
During our walk, we will discover various curiosities and admire street art projects by both unknown and well-known artists, such as Camilla Watson.
The price of the Lisbon Food Tour includes:
7 savory petiscos (3 meat, 2 fish/seafood, 2 vegetarian)
1 dessert/pastry
Two glasses of wine
1 bottle of water
1 glass of port wine
The culinary tour concludes on an unofficial viewing platform near Lisbon Castle, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of Lisbon and one of the city’s best pasteis de nata.
The amount of food is enough to fill you up, so you won’t need dinner afterward. If you like, you can end the evening at the viewpoint with a drink on your own.
