What you can expect

  • Visit Quinta da Corrieira, a small family owned winery located just outside Lisbon, and discover the historic wine tradition of Carcavelos.

Your experience begins with a guided walk through the vineyard and winery, where you will learn about the grape varieties, production methods, and ageing techniques used to produce this rare fortified wine.

After the tour, enjoy a guided tasting of still wines and Carcavelos wines, the specialty of this region. Carcavelos is one of Portugal’s rarest wine styles, once served at royal courts and today produced by only a handful of wineries.

This experience offers a unique opportunity to discover Lisbon’s wine heritage directly at the vineyard where the wines are made.

Carcavelos is one of Portugal’s rarest and most historic wines — once served at royal courts, now produced by only a handful of estates. At Quinta da Corrieira, we are proud to be one of the last to keep this legacy alive.
