What you can expect

  • We will walk together in the heart of Lipari, starting from Marina Corta, one of the most characteristic squares on the island. From here, we will enter the alleys of the historic old town via Via Garibaldi and reach the steps of Via del Concordato, going up towards the fortified citadel of the Castello.

    We will walk around the exteriors of the Castle and the Cathedral of San Bartolomeo, stopping at viewpoints to observe Lipari from above. We will not enter the Archaeological Museum: the experience takes place entirely outdoors.

    We will then return to Marina Corta and continue along Via Maddalena to Porto delle Genti, discovering another side of the town and its relationship with the sea. During the walk, I will share my connection with Lipari and the Aeolian Islands, describing places, everyday life, and the spirit of the islands.

    It is not a scientific visit or a lesson: it is a shared, simple, and peaceful walk to get to know Lipari through the eyes of those who live and tell the story of these islands.
