- Upon arrival, a guide will meet guests at the station. They will have time to have breakfast on their own before embarking on a guided tour of the city of Caral.
- Caral is an archaeological site featuring truncated pyramids, temples, and astronomical observatories dating back more than 5,000 years. Located in the Supe Valley, it is considered the cradle of Andean civilization and the third-oldest human settlement in the world, after Mesopotamia and Egypt. After exploring Caral, guests will have one hour of free time for lunch before heading to Barranca to visit the Christ the Redeemer monument. Afterward, there will be free time to explore the Plaza de Armas, known as the “heroic city” for the courage of its inhabitants during the War of the Pacific. Evidence of this courage includes the anchor and chain from the Chilean fleet ship Covadonga.
The tour is expected to end around 8:00 p.m.
