You will be accompanied by a tour guide throughout the activity. He will be with you and show you the Provençal heritage.
The tour will begin with a visit to Saint-Saturnin-les-Avignon and its paddle wheels, and what they were used for decades ago. You can admire the village washhouse, and a stop is planned to visit the St-Saturnin-les-Avignon oil mill, with tastings of olive oil and honey at the Moulin de la Rétanque. You will already be immersed in the making of Provençal olive oil.
We will continue our tour towards Châteauneuf De Gadagne to discover this village, the history and the Provençal movement that was created in this pretty hilltop village, its fortifications, its monuments, and the people who have marked the history of Provence.
We will head to the heights of the village for another immersion in the vineyards, a meeting with Bruno who will show us his estate and tell us about his vines during a short hike on his land. This will be followed by a food tasting of six wines, in the form of a picnic with charcuterie, cheese, and local fruit in the shade of the centenary plane trees in the middle of the vineyard.
After this moment of sharing, relaxation, and conviviality, we will head towards Le Thor to visit the village and discover its secrets and history. During the walk, you can admire the lavender fields (in bloom from early June to mid-July), the fruit tree orchards, the olive trees, the rivers, and the vineyards. The landscapes, history, and culture of Provence await.
A complete immersion during the whole activity.
