Join us for a guided visit to the productive heart of Reggio Emilia, where we will explore the complex of the former Officine Reggiane, now the Innovation Park. You will discover nearly a century of history, from the time when the “Officina” was the hub of work and technology, to its transformation into a symbol of hope and social struggle.
We will relive the stories and memories of a community deeply connected to this place, which has shaped its identity through a complex and, at times, troubled journey. We will talk about the Reggiane massacre of July 28, 1943, and the RAF bombing of January 8, 1944, events that deeply marked the Reggio Emilia community.
This unique experience will allow us to understand how the Officine Reggiane transformed the face of the city, becoming one of the most important industrial centers in Italy. We will recount the main episodes from its inception to the final days of its activity.
