What you can expect

  • Pick up point is at the Parking of Complejo Rural Agoga, a hotel, restaurant and bar, located at the end of the village also called Las Médulas, same as the archaelogical zone. The Tour walks the Interior or Valiñas Path and lasts around 2 hours. Walking distance is 1.5 kms to the large caves: La Cuevona and La Encantada. The Medulas Tour ends at these caves, where you can enjoy the enviroment by yourselves.

    Walk through the remains of the collapsed mountain and know about the water channels that made gold extraction possible. Discover about Celtic and Roman culture along the way, and enjoy the impressive Exterior of La Encantada and La Cuevona caves. Also enjoy the natural beauty of the area, which is a protected natural reserve in the Red Nature 2000 European Union and a ZEPA, a special protection area for birds.
