What you can expect

  • Lapland is still the largest wilderness in Europe today. Part of it is the 5,600 km² Vindelfjäll nature reserve, our trekking area. There are no roads, no houses, no paths and only a few bridges over the rivers. It is the land of reindeer herds.
    We hike through ancient birch forests, past rushing rivers and rest alongside bubbling streams along the way.
    A trekking day includes around 6 - 7 hours of hiking (including breaks) before we pitch our tents at crystal-clear mountain lakes.

    Note: This tour is planned as a circular tour. Alternatively, this tour can also be started with a helicopter flight, which takes us deep into the nature reserve. The return journey then takes three days of trekking back to civilization.
    The tour can be extended or shortened by one day
