A day trip in the Heart of the Guadeloupe National Park, on a 100% sail-Powered excursion where slow tourism and ecosystem preservation meet. Glide silently, motor-free (motor only for the safety), accros protected waters teeming with coral, sea turtles, conch, seagrass beds, mangroves, and exceptional biodiversity. As a “witness-guide”, I'll help you observe and understand this fragile environment, threatened by climate change and human activity, while minimizing our impact.
Program:
Sail to the vicinity of a small island where the turtles ponds. Sail to the vicinity of Fajout Island near the barrier’s reef and enjoy a swim or paddle in the calm waters. You can try to conduct the sailboats (with me).
Board the TI-Bo ship at 7:20AM and sail.
Enjoy an aperitif and local Guadeloupean products like local juice after heading to a snorkelling stop.
Enjoy the rhythm of sailing to take the day to the natural. Break for a swim or paddle in the calm waters before returning to Baie Mahault at 4:00 PM.
Please, use Reef-safe sunscreen in the morning, you can try a sun protection lycra if you want, it is great.
