Meet your host at the entrance of Byodoin Temple and begin your exploration of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Admire the thousand-year-old temple, Phoenix Hall (ticket not include, 2 dollars, optional), and beautifully landscaped gardens.

Next, enjoy a relaxing cultural walk along the scenic Uji River and historic streets. Stroll along Uji Bridge and the riverside streets, taking in traditional architecture and charming local shops. Your host will share fascinating stories about the area’s history and local culture.
