Highlights of Your Journey
Prometheus Cave: Enter a fairy-tale world hidden deep underground. You will walk through massive halls filled with colorful stalactites and stalagmites, following a path that feels like another planet.
Martvili Monastery: Perched on a hill with stunning views, this 7th-century site is a peaceful escape. You’ll see beautiful frescoes and feel the deep history of one of the region’s most important spiritual centers.
Martvili Canyon: The star of the show! Walk along stone bridges over rushing waterfalls and take a traditional boat trip through the canyon’s bright turquoise waters, surrounded by lush green cliffs.
What to Expect
We start our morning in Kutaisi, heading straight to the mysterious Prometheus Cave. With its impressive lighting and massive caverns, it is easily one of Georgia’s most visited natural wonders.
Next, we shift from nature to history at the Martvili Monastery. It’s a quiet, holy place where you can take photos of the ancient stone architecture and enjoy the fresh mountain air.
Finally, we reach Martvili Canyon. You will have plenty of time to explore the walking trails and take a boat through the narrow gorge. The contrast between the white rocks and the deep blue water is something you’ll never forget.
