I will accompany you on a discovery of the old fishing village of Kukkolaforsen, a place rich in history and traditions located in the heart of the Tornio Valley, on the border between Sweden and Finland. Together, we will explore the traditional wooden buildings overlooking the Torne River, where net fishing, a practice recognized as part of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage, is still carried out today. We will visit the small but fascinating fish museum, where I will tell you about the local culture, the tools used, and the daily life of fishermen in the past. An authentic, guided, and immersive experience amidst nature, history, and Lappish tradition.
The tour will take place in the village of Kukkolaforsen (Sweden).
