What you can expect

Our Kualoa Grown Tour allows guests to see the beauty and tranquility of one of Oahu’s most well-preserved ancient Hawaiian fishponds (Molii), which is carbon-dated at between 800 and 1,000 years old. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of the Interior, you’ll get to learn about early Hawaiian aquaculture practices and how fish was farmed in this 153-acre actively farmed fishpond, still standing with much of the original stonewall infrastructure in place. Guests will travel on a Trolley to explore the tropical fruit and flower gardens of Molii that are growing along the fishpond.

Ride on our open-air trolleys and learn about some of the different food products that are grown right here at Kualoa. Learn about our livestock, agriculture, and aquaculture initiatives. Visit our serene Hale Nanea area, the original site of the “Hukilau Cafe” seen in 50 First Dates, as well as many more movie and TV shows. Stop at the amazingly beautiful Pahalona farm and step back into old Hawai'i taro farm thats still being cultivated with taro (kalo), rice and lotus.
