Kobe is famous for its high-quality Kobe beef—but this beautiful port city offers much more. It’s home to Japan’s largest sake-producing area, one of the oldest hot spring towns, and scenic views of both the sea and mountains.

On this full-day private tour, a local guide will take you around Kobe in a comfortable 6-seater van. The route is planned to efficiently cover cultural spots, local neighborhoods, and scenic areas. Expect short walks, photo stops, and smooth drives.

Kobe is less crowded than Kyoto or Osaka, offering a more relaxed and pleasant sightseeing experience.

We’ll visit Meriken Park, a waterfront area home to some of Kobe’s most iconic landmarks — including the striking Kobe Port Tower, the popular BE KOBE monument perfect for photos, and a preserved structure from the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake that serves as a powerful reminder of the city’s resilience.
The Former Foreign Settlement of Kobe (Pass by)
We’ll also drive through the Former Foreign Settlement, a historical district that once housed Western merchants and diplomats after Kobe opened its port in the 19th century. While we won’t stop, you’ll get a glimpse of the elegant Western-style architecture that still remains today, offering a unique contrast to the city’s modern skyline.
